For Immediate Release Contact: Vicki Walker Henderson Properties Donates Gifts to Operation Christmas ChildCHARLOTTE, NC – Henderson Properties’ staff donated 30 shoeboxes filled with children’s Christmas gifts to Operation Christmas Child. In addition, the real estate firm’s employees are volunteering at the Operation Christmas Child processing center in Charlotte. This is the third-consecutive year that Henderson Properties has supported Operation Christmas Child.
Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse which distributes shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts to needy and hurting children in 100 countries worldwide. Last year, over 7.6 million gift-filled shoeboxes were distributed by the agency. The goal for 2008 is to collect 8 million shoeboxes, 2.1 million of which will be shipped by volunteers from the Charlotte Processing Center.
